Home Based Web Businesses: The New Way of Making Money

local SEO Girls behind the camera has helped me developed social awareness. The global economy has gone down the sinkhole since the US and dollar fell. It was not just the US that was affected; every country that depended on them also got affected and had their economy fall too.

Since most of the countries all over the world were affected, what are we going to do to live it out in these brutal times? Most people would suggest a small time business would suffice since it can at least pay you the bills. There is another option though and that is the Local SEO home based web business.

A lot of home based businessmen confesses that they have been affected too with the crisis and other internet marketers are having a hard time gaining back their sales, internet based businesses will always thrive they say. They say it is a great indication of a big business in the near future and it has many more possibilities that will bloom out.

These times are the perfect opportunity to start out this type of business. Even if these types of businesses have been slowed down due to the economic crisis, do not fear as they will still stand back and in time will grow. Internet prices are preferred because there are times that it is cheaper than what is in the retail stores. Internet products are much preferred also because some people would offer great discounts just to get their products sold.

Florida’s Notable Tourist Spots

clearwaterFlorida has been one of the best spots in United States of America for any documentary films. In fact, this is our favorite spot whenever we are in Miami. We have filmed our short docu from airport down to world-renowned beaches. In my own perspective, here are some places that you would be happy to visit.

Clearwater: Home To Great Beaches

If you are now in the state of Florida, you must first take a visit to Clearwater. It is a city just west of Tampa and northwest to St. Petersburg. What you can find in the west of the city is the Gulf of Mexico and in the east is Tampa Bay. You will find here some nice beaches here and beautiful beach homes and hotels like Travelodge Clearwater Central, Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Clearwater Bayside, Blue Wave Motel and Suites and many more. The city has many hotels to stay in if you want to have vacation there.

Clearwater On Air Transportation

Tampa International Airport is one that gives air transport to Clearwater and the rest of the Tampa Bay Area. You can also try the St. Petersburg – Clearwater International Airport as a way to get to the city.

Places To Visit In Clearwater

You can visit the Clearwater Beach which looks south of Pier 60. The long beach there is what you should try out as it is for the public and it has a great view. You can also go to Clearwater Marina to visit the series of yachts and boats.  You can also go downtown to try out the bars, restaurants and the other amenities you can try out.

There are also notable famous people that you can hope to meet at the city like Hulk Hogan or Lisa Marie Presley.

Okay, I admit!

hcg injectionsOkay, I admit it. This is one of the topics we are frequently discussing whenever, WE, girlsbehindthecamera meet. Such an awesome topic to discuss.

The hype about HCG injections resurfaced in 2007 when author Kevin Trudeau recommended this way of weight loss in a book he published. In the book “Weight Loss Guide,” a HCG injection diet can result in 1-2 pounds of weight loss everyday. For great results, Dr. Simeons advise a person to embark in a 26- or 43-day HCG injection diet program. The minimum time for the diet is 26 days, although it is not recommended to go past the 43rd day of the diet.

The HCG diet consists of a loading phase, which is the first two days of the diet. This time, you get the chance to eat everything you want to eat in order to provide your body the fuel it needs for the next few weeks.

Afterwards, you are limited to eating foods with only 500 calories per day. At this time, you need to take the HCG injections as well. Stop the injections on the third to the last day of the program, but you still need to go through with the low-calorie diet during that time.

HCG injections are usually done intramuscularly, on the buttocks or the upper thighs; or subcutaneously, on the fat on your stomach or thighs. If you are afraid of needles, then you can try out sublingual HCG formulations. For a sublingual HCG pill, you just need to place the pill under the tongue. There are also HCG drops which you can take orally, or combined with a drink.

If you want to take a risk and try out HCG injections, visit trimnutrition.com to learn about the 28-day kit you can try out.

Modern Day Hair Transplantation

hair transplantation

One of the reasons why I wrote this article is that I noticed that there are many people working behind the camera (especially males) who have thin or receding hairline. Just wondering how it happened. Here is what I found out.

Hair transplantation has slowly grown more and more popular since the 1950’s. This form of treatment has been the most common and most frequent treatment for men and women who experience hair loss. The process involves extracting and implanting individual hair follicles, whether from a strip extracted or directly at the back of the patient’s head, these hair grafts are then implanted painstakingly into the recipient site.

Because there is a relatively large market to serve when it comes to hair restoration treatments such as hair transplantation, many clinics have emerged that cater to patients who wish to end their problems of hair loss, particularly male-pattern-baldness. This is not specific to a particular state, as 66% of men in the United States will experience balding in their lifetime.

Modern day hair transplantation can occur in two-methods: the traditional follicular unit transplantation and the extensive follicular unit extraction. The difference between the two is that follicular unit transplantation requires the need to slice a thin strip of scalp from the donor site before the hair grafts are manually extracted then implanted into the patient’s recipient site.

One of the reasons why hair transplantation has become the preferred method of hair restoration is because it provides immediate gratification to the patient, unlike medication that will eat up months, even years of waiting, all without the guarantee that the same effect of hair transplantation will take place. It is for this reason that many result to undergoing the surgical procedure, as the amount spent for the surgery basically covers all the month’s worth of medication needed for an unsure results.

Men by nature tend to lose their crown, however, women are not an exemption.

Two Fabulous Weeks Down, One to Go

OK, I admit it – I’m an emotional gal. So writing about the first 2 weeks of the 3-week RISK filmmaking program is going to send me over the edge. The girls of Girls Behind the Camera have been so enthusiastic, so creative, so engaged, so willing to embrace all the technology, so very wonderful – it’s tough to be dry-eyed when thinking about how successful the program Tara Veneruso developed truly is. It’s amazing to think that the girls in Kansas City and St. Joseph can now:

  • Talk about plot, genre and climax like a professional screenwriter.
  • Develop their own scripts with the storytelling tools they’ve learned.
  • Pick up cameras, boom mics and lights with confidence to shoot and direct their fellow students’ films. Plus, the acting, animation and teamwork skills they’ve learned are priceless. And even if these girls don’t choose a video/film production path in their lives, they’ve now been exposed to a world outside their normal realm – the better to open
their eyes to other possibilities that may come their way.

Though we have one more week of the program, it’s not too late for anyone to make a difference. To make a tax-deductible Sponsor-a-Girl donation to RISK via Red Echo Group, our not-for-profit producer of RISK, send a check today payable to “Red Echo Group” to:

Whether you send in $50 or $5,000, you’ll be helping us meet our financial obligations for picking up and dropping off the girls at their homes (a shout out to our valuable mentors and drivers); feeding them breakfast, lunch and snacks (the girls put in at least 8-hour days!);
and educating them (we’ve had exceptional guest teachers).

We’d also like to thank the University of Missouri-Kansas City – and especially Dr. Thomas Poe, Kevin Mullin and Jennifer Underwood – for letting us house the KC program at Haag Hall for the entire 3 weeks. Their support, and those of our other generous benefactors, is truly
making a difference in at-risk girls’ lives. – Linda

Your Generosity is Appreciated This Week

What an amazing day we had on Friday! The girls who’ll take part in the Kansas City half of the 3-week RISK film-making program were together for the first time. And as RISK director Tara Veneruso and producer Eric Keith took them through some creative and fun exercises, the girls showed a spirit that was inspiring to all of us. We’ll be up in St. Joseph Tuesday with co-producer Deny Staggs to bring all of those girls together.

Knowing that each of these girls has known more adversity than I’ve experienced in all my years makes me even more determined to present a program that will be life-enhancing for them. Many of these girls’ stories are downright heartbreaking. Through RISK, we want to ensure they widen their options for a better and more enriching life.

One great part of the program is the community support we’ve received. However, with the program start date fast approaching (June 11), we still have many girls in both KC and St. Joe who are in need of sponsors through our Sponsor-a-Girl program.

We’re making a special effort this week to let people know of our RISK sponsorship levels, with the money going toward ensuring that each of the girls’ needs are fully met during the program: (1) RISK Premier Sponsor: $10,000 (2) RISK Platinum Sponsor: $5,000 (3) RISK Gold Sponsor: $1,000 (4) RISK Silver Sponsor: $500 (5) RISK Sponsor: $50+

P.S. Check us out in the Kansas City Star!

We Are in Missouri!

We have arrived in Kansas City on Wednesday and things are definitely in full gear. New teammates are arriving each day and our production office is coming together quite nicely. One more week of pre-pro and we will be shooting! I got to meet some of the girls on Friday who are going to be in the program – we played some games with them and they definitely are pumped up about the program! You work so long and hard on a project and once you actually get to meet the girls it really puts everything into perspective and reminds you of how a program like this is really truly going to impact them.

More updates to come soon! –Jen (Production Coordinator)
